Here’s Why

BYRON and DANARA’s Family

We were founded in 2011 by Byron and Danara Johnson. Byron has almost 20 years experience as a contractor who consistently exceeds expectations. Originally from Australia, he is married to a Colorado native and has three children. He is responsible for the day to day management of the company and new business development.  Originally starting from his garage many moons ago, he has successfully grown CSR to become the highest reviewed foundation repair company in Colorado.  His passion and skillset are unmatched.  info@coloradostructuralrepair.com

Russell Meinzer is our General Manager and the lifeblood of CSR.  As a top notch skier, when he is not on the slopes, he is assisting Byron with the day to day operations and permit pulling for us.  It’s not uncommon in the warmer months to find him killing it at the frisbee golf game. He plays hard and works even harder. Born and raised in Denver, he is a true native and hails from the hallowed halls of the University of Colorado. russell@coloradostructuralrepair.com

Jason Sturlaugson (Sturge), one of our  top estimators, was born in the freezing tundra of North Dakota.  He grew up in his family’s concrete ready mix business pouring foundations and a whole lotta grain bins. He moved with his wife and three kids to the beautiful state of Colorado to start the next chapter of their lives several years ago. Both of his boys started work with CSR when the company started while he was doing home inspections. He is a vital part of the growing CSR family. jason@coloradotructuralrepair.com.

Jack McGuire is our “senior project consultant” and serves the entire foothills area. Jack has been evaluating foundation issues in the Western US since 2003 and has  designed over 1200 repair plans during his career.

After college, Jack returned home and joined his brother in the custom home building business until the  mid 80s when Jack and his wife Eileen pursued a dream and headed west for Colorado. He stayed in the Real Estate business in Colorado as an agent, Broker and GM for a Fortune 500 Company, and eventually returned to his construction roots in the foundation repair business. For the past 16 years Jack has led firms in the area of design installations for the West’s most successful foundation contractors.

Jack’s mission is to continue that of the firm; to serve our Colorado neighbors when they are presented with the challenges of foundation problems caused by mountain area soils. “The foothills of Colorado are a unique environment and its soils can be very unpredictable. Evaluating the problem correctly is the key to a sound repair plan.” It takes career experience and great installation teams to maintain the trust our customers have placed in us and that’s our commitment to Colorado; expert repairs, done right the first time. Jack can be reached at jack@coloradostructuralrepair.com and by cell at 720-270-9998.JACK K.

Jack Krider, one of our top estimators (and the Danara’s uncle), came to Colorado after a stint as a train robber with Hank, working at Dollywood in Tennessee. Not kidding. He has pictures to prove it. He has 25 years experience in the construction industry having been involved in the design and construction of many recreation centers on university campuses in Colorado.  He has taught facility management and design classes for Colorado State University in Pueblo. He has also remodeled and flipped 10 homes. He is very active outdoors skiing, hiking, and riding dirt bikes. He and his family are always up for the next adventure- the latest of which is being a proud grandpa. jkrider@coloradostructuralrepair.com.

Hank is our crew foreman.  His strong leadership and kind demeanor make him the perfect site supervisor; he troubleshoots and manages each job with ease. Safety and compliance is a top priority.
